:: HOW I GOT HERE - page 4 ::
             I decided to go move back to the Raleigh-Durham area and it paid off. I got an offer to fly as a contract pilot. This meant that I was able to fly as a Second in Command (SIC) on a supply and demand basis. Really enjoyed flying for this company and within a month I got offererd to work as a full time pilot.

          I now fly for a private/corporate jet company that manages airplanes for clients. From the assisting in the sale, to making sure the limousine is standing by at the destination. Due to privacy I cannot name the company, but we manage a fleet close to 30 airplanes. Ranging from a Cirrus to a Citation VII. Mostly Cessna jets. Flying around the rich and famous to glamerous and not so glamerous destinations. I really love the corporate life. Not knowing where you'll go next time. Meeting new people on a personal level.

          For all the jobhunting low-time pilots out there. It is possible to get a job with 750TT and 400ME, but you have to be consistent. Don't give up. Put on a nice suit and start knocking on doors with a resume in your hand. You might think it's a little "too much", but this is how I got my job!

          Just wanted to share my story with you to give you an idea of a different kind of approach then most pilots. I will be happy to answer any questions or receive a nice job application should you have one.
